This is the time to definitely cure your hemorrhoids

What exactly are hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids ( or piles as they were sometimes called ) are caused by swelling of the veins around the anus. They can generally be classified into two groups, and the main difference is that internal hemorrhoids are inflamed veins within the anus whereas the external hemorrhoids are just under the skin around the anus, anus. An internal hemorrhoid may in some cases pass through the anal orifice, and it becomes painful and irritated. It is a prominent hemorrhoid. Generally, it is not mortal but painful and painful!

What are they due to?

They do not distinguish between sexes, they appear as much in men as in women. According to recent statistics, about half of the victims of haemorrhoids are over fifty years old. Hemorrhoids are caused by various factors. Pregnant women are at greater risk of hemorrhoids because of the increased volume of blood in the veins, which is explained by the baby’s crushing in the uterus. Hormonal changes also cause dilation of blood vessels. Added to these factors is enormous pressure during childbirth. Fortunately, for most women, this is only a temporary problem that usually disappears shortly after childbirth.

Exercising strong pressure during defecation, constipation, pregnancy and aging increase the likelihood of hemorrhoids.

What are the symptoms ?

Many people suffer from hemorrhoids, but they do not all have the same symptoms !! The most common symptom when it comes to internal hemorrhoids is the presence of bright red blood on the stool, on the toilet paper, Or in the toilets themselves. Symptoms of external hemorrhoids may also include painful swelling or a hard bump around the anus. This is due to the formation of blood clots that dry out around the anus, which in turn can cause pain, bleeding and itching, causing a vicious circle of symptoms.

Hemorrhoids treatment, what to do ?

The treatment of hemorrhoids begins with the relief of symptoms. To get there, I listed below some tips:

  • Take a bath of seat for about 10 minutes several times a day with warm water.
  • Apply a hemorrhoid cream that has an anti-inflammatory effect to reduce your inflammations and swelling. You can also opt for inserting a suppository hemorrhoid.
  • Drinking tea with chamomile drinking could prove useful for some people.
  • Putting cotton underwear can make you feel more comfortable.
  • Pack ice can help reduce swelling
  • Applying ice can help relieve inflammation.

In order to prevent hemorrhoids from returning, you will need to prevent constipation. Doctors always recommend increasing fibers and fluids in your diet. This means you have to eat a lot of fiber and drink between six and eight glasses of liquid (no alcohol) per day. You will get softer stools and easier to defecate, which will decrease the pressure on hemorrhoids. This diet also helps prevent hemorrhoids from protruding.

Good sources of fiber include vegetables, fruits and whole grains. In addition, you can try an emollient or fiber supplement such as psyllium ( Metamucil ) or methylcellulose (Citrucel).

In some isolated cases, hemorrhoids are treated surgically. The doctor will usually perform the procedure from his office or in hemorrhoids treatment centers. A number of methods can be used to eliminate or reduce the size of internal hemorrhoids. These techniques include:

  1. Elastic ligature :A rubber band is placed around the base of the hemorrhoid , passing through the inside of the rectum. Wide elastic bands reduce the supply of blood to hemorrhoids. These latter dry up and fall after a few days.
  2. Sclerotherapy :A chemical is injected through the blood vessel in order to shrink the hemorrhoid.
  3. Infrared coagulation :A special device is used to burn the hemorrhoidal tissue.
  4. Hemorrhoidectomy :In some cases, internal or external hemorrhoids are so large or severethat they require a surgical procedure called hemorrhoidectomy. But it is very rare.
